(please excuse the poorly taken selfies: I couldn't find anyone who would take a picture of my outfit.)
Yesterday, I had to work at a dinner event for my dad (that's what I do for work currently, remember I'm still in high school). It was pretty interesting and fun, so I actually didn't mind giving up my Friday night. Usually I clean up, bus the tables, help prepare food, and man the entrance. Whenever I work the events, I like looking as nice and fashionable as possible. I think it says a lot to adults when a 17 year old carries herself with pride and really cares about how she looks. Everyday I try to look like I didn't just roll out of bed. Every outfit I wear needs to make a statement because it shows who I am: not just another face in the crowd. I pride myself on being unique; I am very aware I'm not the typical teenager.
