The Wanderlust Tag

I was so excited when I got a little notification from Alex (alexidilorenzo.blogspot.com) this morning that I was tagged in The Wanderlust Tag post. I absolutely love traveling - I honestly wish I could do it for a living. Thanks for the tag girly! See Alex's post here!
1) Your most treasured passport stamp?
My one from Iceland for sure! I was only there for a day, but it was an incredibly surreal place. We had a stop there for a day on our way to England. I went with my dad. If you ever get the opportunity to go there, take it. It's other worldly, plus the air is really clean. I'd love to go back.

2) Can you recite your passport number from memory if asked?
Haha, no. I don't think my mom even can and she was a flight attendant for a long time soooo...
3) Preferred method of travel: planes/trains/automobiles?
All 3 are okay. I mean, honestly, I'd rather have teleportation and avoid any types of transit. But I can't have that so I'd say trains, because where I live there aren't subways or anything cool like that. The trains around my house are hardly used except for long trips out of the state. And we don't have high speed trains so it takes a long time. But when I was in London I loved The Tube.

5) Hostel or hotel?
I've never stayed at a hostel but I'm planning to when I go to Europe with a friend next summer for my graduation trip. So hotel!
6) Are you a repeat visitor or do you explore new places?
Depends. I'd love to go back to Iceland like I said, but the only place (overseas) I've gone to twice is Italy (once when I was like 6 and another time when I was about 11). I'll be going again next summer on my Europe trip because I think I'll appreciate it more than 6 and 11-year-old-me. Plus I have distant cousins there that I've never met and I'm a dual citizen because my Great Grandpa immigrated (American and Italian).

7) Do you read up on your destination (culture, history, safety) or do you wing it?
I do both. I mean I'll read a little bit about a place, but I'd rather just take in the beauty and the facts while I'm there.
8) Favorite trip website?
Honestly I don't use them! I just book my flight and go!
9) Where would you recommend a friend to visit? Name a city and why?
I'll name a few:
Iceland... because it's out of this world.
London, England... I love that city, besides all the smokers, but it's amazing.
Nicaragua... Well, it would've never been my first choice to go there, but I went for service so in that aspect it was an amazing trip. The land is really beautiful and green as well. Here is my post about Nicaragua!
San Francisco... It's a pretty fun city. I went on a trip for school to check out all the start-up companies in Silicon Valley, so in that aspect it was really interesting.
Chicago... I just love the city, plus I'm thinking about going to college in Chicago so I had to put it on the recommendation list.

10) You're leaving tomorrow, money is no option. Where would you go?
OK this is difficult! Either Greece, New Zealand, South Africa (or somewhere in Africa), or Costa Rica. I really can't decide! Greece is pretty high on my list though. I think it's so beautiful!
I tag anyone who wishes to do the tag! Have fun!
