The weather was pretty nice yesterday so I can't complain, but I do wish I was somewhere warmer. I'm currently on vacation from school, but I'm sticking pretty close to home unlike everyone else who has jetted away to paradise. (Kinda jealous, no lie).
But I made do with the weather yesterday and threw this cute outfit on! And finally (!!) got to wear sandals again.
The sunglasses I'm sporting are surprisingly from Forever 21. I needed a pair for my trip to the Amazon and, because I had problems deciding between three pairs, I narrowed it down to two and went with a tortoise shell pair and these silver ones. I loved them with this outfit because they matched my nails and skirt!
My sweater is also from Forever 21 but I've had it for quite a while. I want to say I got it like winter of 2013? I don't know. But it's been very versatile throughout the years because I wear it with camisoles underneath and it's a very simple, white sweater. I've also come to find out that white sweaters like this are a closet-must. There's been times where I absolutely needed a white sweater and all I had was this and sometimes, it just didn't work with my outfit.
Last summer I was crazy for pencil denim skirts like the grey H&M one I have on here. I had this feel that they were going to be the new trend. So, I searched for them like crazy and finally and came across this one and a black one at H&M in the sale section. Now I take pride in knowing that denim skirts are in fact back in style and I was probably one of the first girls to wear them again. So, there's no shortage of love for this skirt.
And of course, none of my outfits are ever complete without my signature blue TopShop purse. I will be forever carrying a purse with a strap that goes on my shoulder. No doubt about it.
Also: (Notice my nail polish? I love it! I just found it the other day in my closet.)
Finally, my shoes. Where did I get them? My mom's closet: it's always the best "store". Also: it was nice to finally wear sandals again after being confined to boots all winter!
